Out of line The Story
Out of
the ordinary

Driven by a passion to create a dining table that challenges traditional standards, Bieke Casteleyn debuted her first Out of Line table in 2015. With its skillfully designed, organic contours, Out of Line soon became an icon of Belgian refinement and craftsmanship. One that has been translated into a carefully considered collection of functional objects: dining tables, coffee tables, desks, consoles, benches and more.

The objects in the Out of Line collection appear to be created intuitively – in which the result is as aesthetically pleasing as it is functional. The shapes are the product of Bieke Casteleyn’s research, experimentation and architectural insights. They offer a surprising new take on the traditional table and its setting. Whether it’s an intimate tête-à-tête at the dining table, a meeting at your desk or a cozy family get-together around the coffee table, the welcoming design evokes a strong sense of connection.

Every object is handmade to order in Belgium. Our craftspeople apply our unique cement-based plastering technique in several layers and create the perfect finish that is characteristic for every piece of Out of Line furniture, ensuring exceptional quality. Each piece is inspected before dispatching to your home. The brass-colored label of authenticity, signed by Bieke Casteleyn herself, guarantees its originality.

The interplay
of
colours

For Out of Line, Bieke Casteleyn developed colours for an inviting atmosphere in any room. The essential colours consist of soft neutrals. They are accompanied by rich, warm pop-shades inspired by mid-century colourways. Always interested in exploring new horizons, we continuously expand our Out of Line inspirational colours, inspired by trend research and Bieke Casteleyn’s own creative insights. Bold yet never overwhelming, these colours give your home both personality and a playful touch.
